PALS mentor elementary students
PALS are junior and seniors who visit elementary school students and help them through their iteration with encouragement and comfort. Through this experience PALS are able to learn what being a leader and role model means. PALees have just as much of a impact on their PALS life as the PALS have on theirs.

When- During the school year.
Why- To help encourage PALees.
How- Helping them through tough times.

Student Life
Freshman prepares for a school life across the sea
Freshman Maya Levee hopes to be able to study in Spain after applying to became a exchanged student. Although Maya friends said that they would miss her they will continue to support her. Maya got the idea of becoming a exchanged student from her friend who became a exchanged student in Mexico and hopes to be able to go to school so she can continue trying to become completely fluent in Spanish. Maya also hopes that this will be a great experience for her if she does become a exchange student.

Seniors receive nostalgia with four-year-old letters
After writing letters to their future self in Freshman year the seniors got back their letters after writing them four years ago. The letters show the senior how much they changed since they were freshman. Seniors look back at how different they were back then compared to who they are now and reflect on the old memories.

Sports
Tennis team come together to help a fellow teammate 
With the support and help from the tennis team senior Jackson Cobb was able to finish his Eagle Scout project. Instead of finishing the project at the beginning of next year like he had planed he was able o fish it by mArch with all the help. The volunteers enjoyed participating and spending time with friends.

Band director set to move to a new school at year's end
The band teacher Kim Shuttlesworth plans to teach at a brand new high school in north Austin. The teacher has left a impact on many of the band students and will be miss but they hope that she will have just as much of a impact on her new students. The teacher has left a long legacy and lots of ice lesson behind as she moves to a new school.
