SNO Online Papers

1. What will help me decided on the topic I will be writing about is picking one that the reader finds parallels  between my experience and theirs.
2. One idea the author gave me that I will need to remember though out my writing is to make the emotions real to draw the reader in and to avoid using abstract expressions and phrases.
3.  Three suggestions the writer makes in this section that I can use in y writing is to keep it personal but relating to a wider world. Another one is to think of my easy as a camera lens by describing a fine detail then making it a wider view before narrowing it back to the fine details.

The Maroon News: Ivy League Decisions

2. Their story is about the the process a student went though out high school while hoping to be accepted to a Ivy League college after graduation.
3. " I increasingly desired to attend one of the prestigious institutions following my high school graduation."
4. The writer did show the other side of this because at the beginning of high school he was so focused on just fitting in they moved college to the back of their minds. 
5. They were not wishy-washy about their opinion because throughout the while story they dream of going to a Ivy League college was always their.
6. There are no quotes in this story.
7. They wrote in first person point of view throughout the whole story.

Wildcat Tales: Think Pink
1. Suhina Chopra, Staff Writer
2. Their story is about the writers experience with their mother getting diagnosed with breast cancer.
3. "We don't know what stage it is yet, so we don't know the treatment or how long it's going to take. But now I will have lots of doctors to see and appointments to go to."
4. The writer didn't show the other side of this because its about the journey of her mom going through cancer and she stayed on that one side of the topic.
5. They were not wishy-washy about their opinion because the writer focused on her experience instead of just stating facts.
6. There are quotes in this story but they are used when her mom is explaining that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
7. They wrote from 1st person point of view throughout the whole story.

Mustang Media
1. Bayley Bogus, Editer-in-Cheif
2. Their story is about the difference in amount a female is paid compared to a male and how Jennifer Lawrence was paid less than her male co-stars.
3. "I don't want to live in a world where I work side by side with a man, doing the same job, and have the knowledge that he makes more than me, Jennifer Lawrence. You go girl"
4. The writer didn't show the other side of this because it was on how females don't have equal pay to the male.
5. They were not wishy-washy about there opinion because the writer focused on how Jennifer Lawrence brought up the important topic on equal pay and described how they felt about it without showing what other people might think if they are against it.
6. There are quotes in this story because she is quoting what Jennifer Lawrence wrote.
7. They wrote in 1st person point of view throughout the whole story.
